We completed kitchen and laundry projects all over Australia, bringing high-quality design and durable fixtures to some truly exceptional homes. While it's almost impossible to pick favourites, we did manage to whittle the list of all our kitchen and laundry projects down to 5 of the top kitchens we completed in 2024. Beachside Japandi on the Geelong Bay
We incorporated a beachside vibe as a nod to the location of this home, using blonde timber and a neutral colour palette throughout. The homeowners requested personal touches, like the built-in espresso machine for the coffee enthusiasts in the house. We also designed a spacious walk-in pantry with its own breakfast bar and open shelving to maximise functionality.
Some added luxury comes from the recessed lighting under the kitchen cabinetry and a sleek single-glass piece splashback.
Modern country for the Gippsland greenery
Maximising the available space for this kitchen meant an expansive open floorplan that left nothing out. Incorporating the countryside location, we added modern touches like a stylish white subway tile splashback and open shelving in the butler's pantry to the classic country style. When choosing the fittings, our client selected ultra-wide gold drawer handles and matching tapware, and the real showstopper is the deep trough country-style sink overlooking their amazing countryside view.
Modern Farmhouse With Soaring Ceilings Near The Barwon River
Exposed brick makes the perfect focal point for this modern farmhouse kitchen with personal touches and durable surfaces. The clients chose black stone countertops, which are perfect for high-traffic areas, and specially requested stylish wine storage, which we were able to incorporate under the kitchen island. Behind the main kitchen area, we built one of the biggest butler's pantries we've created all year, with enough space for every kitchen appliance imaginable and the very popular addition of a second kitchen sink.
Crisp white kitchen and laundry with veined marble for Ferntree Gully
Our clients in the Dandenong Ranges of Melbourne wanted a kitchen and laundry refresh that felt clean and crisp without being too white. We used warm elements like brass tapware and light fixtures to achieve an inviting aesthetic while introducing a contrasting navy colour in the kitchen island and laundry cabinetry.
Choosing to renovate their laundry at the same time meant we could carry on the design aesthetic through both spaces. For the laundry, we used the same contrasting navy cabinetry and brass tapware but made some smart budget choices with laminate benchtops to keep the costs down.
Pops of colour in a modern country-style entertainer's kitchen for Eastern Melbourne
Building your dream kitchen is all about helping to bring your tastes and style into the real world. Taking cues from the owner's colourful home, we created a stunning blue kitchen island to contrast the modern white used throughout the kitchen.
Textured elements like the tongue and groove kitchen island, high gloss subway tile splashback and timber open shelving create a space that is more than the sum of its parts. An entertainer's dream, we incorporated a 5-burner Italian-made Glamglass cooktop and oven that we know is getting a proper workout now that the renovation is complete.
Extra elements like iron look handles and a hanging pendant light over the island add more country-style vibes to the project.
